Job is a sweet and affectionate ram lamb who loves to cuddle, give kisses, and follow you around the pasture. There is no place he would rather be than by your side.
We cant wait to show him as a yearling and see the baby lambs he produces with Hope: they are a perfect couple. Job is named after the book of Job in the Bible. This story has always had a special place in my heart, and I knew one day a very special animal would have the honor of being named after the man who still believed, still had faith, and still persevered through everything that was thrown against him. He believed that God is good always. |
Hope was only able to be shown as a yearling ewe in 2021 due to shows being cancelled due to Covid-19 in 2020. However, in just one show season she became a 3 x Grand Champion Pair of Fine Wool Ewes with our ewe Sunflower by her side, 3x Reserve Grand Champion Fine Wool Ewe, and 2 x Reserve Grand Champion Fine Wool Fleece. Hope was shown at MFF in Michigan and SAFF in North Carolina during the 2021 show season.
Hope is not only a fantastic representation of the Merino breed, but has an amazing personality as well. She is always the first to greet you in the barn or the field, and will love you forever if you pet just pet her nose. She is the type of sheep that would like nothing better than to be by your side, and if she sees you with a halter in your hand, she will be at the gate waiting to come out and play. Hope has been confirmed pregnant by Job and due in early 2021. |
